Manchego is the king of Spanish cheese, produced in the La Mancha region of central Spain since 1200BC. A semi-hard sheep’s milk cheese, aged for 3 months with a creamy, herbaceous and a hint of savoury flavour and a compact, waxy texture. Enjoy this cheese alongside traditional Spanish tapas dishes.
Le Manchego est le roi des fromages espagnols, produit dans la région de La Mancha, au centre de l’Espagne, depuis l’an 1200 avant Jésus-Christ. Il s’agit d’un fromage de brebis à pâte semi-dure, affiné pendant 3 mois, au goût crémeux, herbacé et légèrement salé, et à la texture compacte et cireuse. Ce fromage se déguste avec des plats de tapas espagnols traditionnels.
