A semi-hard blue-veined cow’s milk cheese. The flavour is complex, ranging from slighty savoury, to nutty, with a gentle spicy tang. The striking orange colour is derived from annatto, a natural, tasteless colouring agent. The texture is dense and crumbly with a soft buttery finish. It is milder than Stilton, but equally creamy. Enjoy crumbled over salads, soups, vegetable dishes and steak. Blend into recipes, vinaigrettes and sauces for an added savoury richness.
