Duero Mahon DOP

A firm cow’s milk cheese produced in the Baleric islands off the coast of Spain. Contrary to it’s sheep and goat milk counterparts, this cheese is on the sweeter side, rather than savoury, with a more mild flavour and buttery, springy texture. Mahon pairs excellently alongside other traditional Spanish cheeses as a welcoming contrast. It also melts very well and works excellently in recipes.
